<and dancing we went
>
Last night, a guy who makes his living being a stand-up comedian told me that I was very funny. That's kind of nice.
Darren came home just to go dancing, and dancing we went. It was, of course, fantastic, and of course because I haven't been dancing in a month because I went home for Christmas, I came home with blisters all over from feet that got too accustomed to not jumping around in my dance shoes. They hurt, of course, but it also shows that I'm a dancing machine.
There was a big group of people that we didn't know - there were probably over 100 people there! Sarah finally asked one of them to dance just to figure out who they were, he told her that they were all home from college and this was their last weekend together so they decided to all go dancing or something? But it was really bizarre and annoying. Of course they didn't know anything except the rhumba, because there was a small rhumba lesson at the beginning of the night. And that'd be okay, except that they all just stood around the walls. And that'd be okay, except that there were a million of them and everyone kept bumping into everyone else while dancing. And during the merengue, none of them knew how to do it and they formed this huge congo line that just obstructed eall the dancers. I'm not trying to complain, just express how insane and difficult it was.
But it felt quite good to dance with Darren again. Everyone else, too, of course because I haven't been there in a while. But mostly Darren.
